About

Wolfpack Projects Ltd is a First Nations member-owned and operated company, rooted in Blueberry River First Nations within Treaty 8 territory in northeastern British Columbia, in the Montney Basin.

We bring proven expertise in pipeline construction, underground utility construction, grubbing, and clearing across Western Canada. The crew also carries civil experience in highway and municipal grade widening, site preparation for pump and compressor stations, municipal force-main installations, and detailed excavation for foundations.

Every package is built around safety, efficiency, and precision, so the work holds up for the client and for the communities around it.

Mission

For family, Nation, and the people who want to build.

Keep First Nations ownership on pipeline and civil work. Open employment in Fort St. John and neighbouring communities. Give other local businesses a fair chance to grow beside Wolfpack, and a clear opportunity to show what they can do in oil and gas.

Riley Apsassin

Riley Apsassin is the owner of Wolfpack Projects Ltd and a member of Blueberry River First Nations. He spent much of his childhood in Doig River First Nations and still keeps close ties to both communities near Fort St. John, B.C., in one of the province's busiest oil regions.

He entered the oil and gas industry in 2007 with Cheyenne Industries in Fort St. John, starting as a labourer on ground clamp. From there he moved on to mainline setup, then began operating heavy equipment in 2010. That path has given him more than seventeen years in the field, spanning the 2008 northeastern B.C. boom and the work that followed.

He founded Wolfpack Projects Ltd in 2023 so pipeline experience could sit with First Nations ownership. The company is built for his family and his Nation: to open employment in Fort St. John and neighbouring communities, and to help other local business owners grow beside Wolfpack on oil and gas work.

His measure of success is simple: people who want to build something should have a fair chance to show what they can do.
